Joining the SMCC Family

How to Register
If you are interested in enrolling your child in one of our programs, please submit an application for SMCC and other daycares through the City of Ottawa website. 
Please note that since SMCC is part of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) you must register your child with the City of Ottawa:

When we receive an email from the City of Ottawa regarding a new application, we will respond to confirm if we have space in the applicable program to meet your needs. If there is room in the program, we will also provide you with further information on how to register for a tour and how to enrol, including the Parent Handbook and registration package that needs to be completed. Proof of up to date immunization must be produced prior to the child’s first day of attendance

Upon submission of the registration documents, a non-refundable $50 enrolment fee and a deposit equal to two weeks fees is payable to secure your spot. A Pre-Authorized Debit registration form will be provided to you so all future payments can be completed through our EFT system.

Soon we are able to provide virtual tours and in-person visits during operating hours

​Waitlist
In the event that SMCC is unable to accommodate your request to register your child in a specific program, we keep your child on our wait-list through the City of Ottawa Child Care Registry and Wait-list.
